तारोपदेशः — Tara’s Counsel to Lakshmana
Restraint, Time, and Mobilization
प्रसादये त्वां धर्मज्ञ सुग्रीवार्थे समाहिता।महान्रोषसमुत्पन्न स्संरम्भस्त्यज्यतामयम्।।।।
prasādaye tvāṃ dharmajña sugrīvārthe samāhitā |
mahān roṣasamutpannaḥ saṃrambhas tyajyatām ayam ||
Молю тебя, о ведающий дхарму, спокойно, ради Сугривы: оставь это великое смятение, рожденное гневом.
'O Lakshmana, knower of dharma, give up your agitation arising out of great anger. Be composed for the sake of Sugriva.
Even justified anger should be relinquished when it threatens harmony and the larger righteous objective; dharma includes proportionate response.
Tārā formally petitions Lakṣmaṇa to de-escalate, acting as an advocate for Sugrīva and for the alliance with Rāma.
Śama (calmness) and conciliation—Tārā’s deliberate composure aimed at preserving dharmic cooperation.
