अहं तु खलु ते वीर्यं प्रसुप्तं प्रतिबोधये।दीप्सैराहुतिभिः काले भस्मच्छन्नमिवानलम्4.27.40।।
ahaṃ tu khalu te vīryaṃ prasuptaṃ pratibodhaye | dīpsair āhutibhiḥ kāle bhasmacchannam ivānalam || 4.27.40 ||
Я же воистину пробужу твою дремлющую доблесть — как огонь, прикрытый пеплом, который в должный час разгорается от возлияний и приношений.
'I am only awakening your dormant valour as one would kindle the fire covered with ashes by making offerings.'
Dharma includes the duty to correct and strengthen the righteous when they falter; truthful counsel can rekindle moral energy for rightful action.
