Следует приносить подношения девам, вместе с подношениями своим питри (предкам). Тот, кто совершает это в единении с сыновьями и внуками, воистину достигает небес. В подношения входят: вода, молоко, кончики травы куша, гхи, простокваша и также мёд.
Narada (teaching/relaying ritual merit in Uttara-Bhaga context)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It teaches that harmonizing deva-yajña (offerings to the gods) with pitṛ-kārya (ancestral offerings) sustains dharma and yields auspicious posthumous merit, described here as attainment of svarga.
Though primarily ritual-focused, it supports bhakti indirectly by emphasizing reverent offering (arpana) to the devas and honoring the pitṛs—forms of disciplined devotion expressed through prescribed acts.
Kalpa (ritual procedure) is implied through the specified substances—āpaḥ, kṣīra, kuśāgra, ghṛta, dadhi, madhu—indicating correct materials and method for tarpaṇa/śrāddha performance.
