Matsya Purana — Rites for Consecrating and Celebrating Trees, Shloka 13

स्नातः शुक्लाम्बरस्तद्वद् यजमानो ऽभिपूजयेत् गोभिर् विभवतः सर्वान् ऋत्विजस्तान्समाहितः //

snātaḥ śuklāmbarastadvad yajamāno 'bhipūjayet gobhir vibhavataḥ sarvān ṛtvijastānsamāhitaḥ //

Омовившись и облачившись в белые одежды, яджамана (совершающий жертвоприношение) должен также почтить их благоговейным поклонением; и по мере своих средств, оставаясь собранным и внимательным, он должен уважительно вознаградить всех жрецов-исполнителей (ṛtvij) дарами коров.
