महानभूत् ततः शब्दो वंशानामिव दहाुताम्,उस समय जलते हुए बाँसोंके चटखनेका-सा बड़ा भयंकर शब्द हो रहा था
mahān abhūt tataḥ śabdo vaṃśānām iva dahyatām
Вайшампаяна сказал: Затем поднялся великий, страшный звук — словно треск бамбуковых стеблей, когда они горят, — предвещая внезапный и яростный поворот событий и усиливая ощущение близкой опасности.
