Kāmyake Pāṇḍavānāṃ Bhojana-vyavasthā

Provisioning and Welfare in the Kāmyaka Forest

tatra prāpya te śatrudamanaṁ kuntīkumāraṁ dharmarājaṁ yudhiṣṭhiraṁ bhrātṛbhiḥ tapasvibhir munibhiś ca parivṛtaṁ dadṛśuḥ || iti śrīmahābhārate vanaparvaṇi indralokābhigamanaparvaṇi lomaśagamane saptacattvāriṁśo 'dhyāyaḥ ||

Educational Q&A

Righteous authority is not mere power over enemies; it is dharma upheld in community—supported by brothers and refined by the presence and guidance of ascetic sages.

Upon arriving at the destination, the visitors (in context, the arriving party led by the sage Lomāśa) behold Yudhiṣṭhira seated and attended—encircled by his brothers and by austere munis—signaling a moment of counsel and dharmic orientation in the forest narrative.
