Shloka 6

तद्‌ वसामो वयं छजन्नास्तदनुज्ञातुमर्हथ । सुयोधनश्व दुष्टात्मा कर्णश्न सहसौबल:

tad vasāmo vayaṃ chajannās tad anu-jñātum arhatha | suyodhanaś ca duṣṭātmā karṇaś ca sahasaubalaḥ ||

Вайшампаяна сказал: «Потому в этом году мы желаем жить в сокрытии; вам надлежит дать нам на то дозволение. Ибо Суйодхана (Дурьодхана), злонамеренный, вместе с Карной и Саубалой (Шакуни) питает к нам яростную вражду. Они стремятся выведать наше местопребывание и привели в действие шпионов. Если наше жилище станет известно, они могут жестоко и несправедливо обойтись даже с нашими старшими и родичами — со всеми, кто связан с нами».
