The verse emphasizes the completion of a dharma-instruction: the sage has fully answered the king’s inquiry, framing dharma as a comprehensive, teachable standard of right conduct and praising Yudhiṣṭhira as one devoted to upholding it.
Mārkaṇḍeya concludes his explanation to Yudhiṣṭhira, stating that he has narrated everything in full in response to the king’s question about dharma, and he addresses him affectionately while honoring his reputation for righteousness.
