स्वयं च स्नापयाम्येतौ तथा पादौ प्रधावये । आहारं च प्रयच्छामि स्वयं च द्विजसत्तम,द्विजश्रेष्ठ! मैं स्वयं ही इन्हें नहलाता हूँ, इनके चरण धोता हूँ और स्वयं ही भोजन परोसकर इन्हें जिमाता हूँ
svayaṃ ca snāpayāmy etau tathā pādau pradhāvaye | āhāraṃ ca prayacchāmi svayaṃ ca dvijasattama ||

True dharma is shown through concrete, compassionate service—especially caring for one’s parents/elders—performed personally and consistently, not merely claimed through birth, learning, or ritual.
Vyādha explains to a brāhmaṇa that he himself attends to two elders—bathing them, washing their feet, and feeding them—illustrating his disciplined household duty and the ethical basis of his conduct.
