तस्मात् त्वं सर्वयत्नेन यतस्वातिथिभोजने । पादोदकं पादघृतं दीपमन्न॑ प्रतिश्रयम्
tasmāt tvaṁ sarvayatnena yatasvātithibhojane | pādodakaṁ pādaghṛtaṁ dīpam annaṁ pratiśrayam |
Посему ты должен всеми силами стремиться чтить и кормить гостей. Подай им воду для омовения стоп, благовоние или гхи для стоп, светильник, пищу и надлежащее пристанище — эти знаки гостеприимства утверждают дхарму и поддерживают священную связь между домохозяином и путником.
