Adhyāya 160: Dikpāla-Cosmography and the Sun’s Kālacakra (दिक्पाल-विश्ववर्णनम् तथा आदित्यस्य कालचक्रम्)
इहस्थैरेव तत् सर्व श्रोतव्यं भरतर्षभा: । न कार्या व: कथंचित् स्यात् तत्राभिगमने मति:,भरतकुलभूषण पाण्डवो! तुम्हें यहीं रहकर वह सब कुछ देखना या सुनना चाहिये। वहाँ पर्वतके ऊपर जानेका विचार तुम्हें किसी प्रकार भी नहीं करना चाहिये
ihasthair eva tat sarvaṃ śrotavyaṃ bharatarṣabhāḥ | na kāryā vaḥ kathaṃcit syāt tatrābhigamane matiḥ |
Мудрец сказал: «О лучший из Бхаратов, оставайтесь здесь и узнавайте всё — видя и слыша с этого самого места. Ни при каких обстоятельствах не допускайте, чтобы мысль ваша обратилась к восхождению туда». Наставление утверждает сдержанность и послушание мудрому слову: любопытство и порыв не должны превозмочь осторожность, когда приближение опасно или запретно.
