नष्टतेजा: समभवत्‌ तस्य तेजो5भिभर्त्सित: | त॑ दृष्टवा वरदं देवं विष्णुं देवगणेश्वरम्‌

Transliteration

naṣṭatejāḥ samabhavat tasya tejo 'bhibhartsitaḥ | taṁ dṛṣṭvā varadaṁ devaṁ viṣṇuṁ devagaṇeśvaram ||

Translation

Его сияние угасло; прежняя слава была обличена и подавлена более высоким светом. Увидев бога, дарующего милости, — Вишну, Владыку сонмов богов, — он столкнулся с высшей божественной властью, перед которой не устоят ни гордыня, ни самоуверенное утверждение себя.
