भगवन्‌ संशय: कश्रिद्‌ धृतराष्ट्रस्य मानस: । यो न शकक्‍यो मया वक्तुं त्वमस्मै वक्तुमहसि,“भगवन्‌! धृतराष्ट्रके हृदयमें कुछ संशय है, जिसका समाधान मेरे द्वारा किया जाना उचित नहीं है। आप ही इस विषयका निरूपण करनेयोग्य हैं"

bhagavan saṁśayaḥ kaścid dhṛtarāṣṭrasya mānasaḥ | yo na śakyo mayā vaktuṁ tvam asmai vaktum arhasi ||

«Почтенный, в сердце Дхритараштры есть некое сомнение. Мне не подобает говорить об этом; тебе надлежит разъяснить ему.»
