सा त्वं सर्वविमोक्षाय तत्त्वमाख्याहि पूच्छत: । तथा विदध्यां सुश्रोणि कृत्यमाशु शुचिस्मिते,सुश्रोणि! मैं पूछ रहा हूँ। सबको संकटसे छुड़ानेके लिये कोई यथार्थ उपाय बताओ। शुचिस्मिते! मैं उस उपायको शीघ्र ही काममें लाऊँगा

Transliteration

sā tvaṁ sarvavimokṣāya tattvam ākhyāhi pṛcchataḥ | tathā vidadhyāṁ suśroṇi kṛtyam āśu śucismite ||

Translation

Бхишма сказал: «Итак, ты, способная на это, поведай мне истинное средство, которым всех можно избавить от этой беды, ибо я спрашиваю всерьёз. О прекраснобёдрая, о нежно улыбающаяся, как только ты скажешь, я тотчас приведу в исполнение необходимое деяние.»
