भुक्तवत्सु द्विजेन्द्रेष यथावत्‌ सम्प्रदापयेत्‌ । वाचकं भरतश्रेष्ठ भोजयित्वा स्वलंकृतम्‌

Transliteration

bhuktavatsu dvijendreṣu yathāvat sampradāpayet | vācakaṃ bharataśreṣṭha bhojayitvā svalakṛtam, bharatabhūṣaṇa |

Translation

Вайшампаяна сказал: «Когда первейшие брахманы окончат трапезу, следует, по установленному порядку, одарить их подобающими дарами. Затем, о лучший из Бхаратов, почтив сказителя — украсив его одеждами и украшениями, — надлежит накормить его превосходной пищей; после чего уместно удовлетворить его дарами и знаками почтения.»
