हित॑ तद्वचनं श्रुत्वा कौसल्यो5प्यजयन्महीम् । तथा च कृतवान् राजा यथोक्त तेन भारत
hitaṃ tad-vacanaṃ śrutvā kausalyo 'py ajayan mahīm | tathā ca kṛtavān rājā yathoktaṃ tena bhārata ||
Бхишма сказал: «Услышав то благотворное наставление, царь Косалы также покорил землю. Ибо царь поступил в точности так, как ему было сказано, о Бхарата, — показывая, что внимать доброжелательному совету и верно исполнять его ведёт к успеху и устойчивости власти.»
