अग्राह्य-ज्ञातिसंबन्धमण्डल-विवेचनम् / Managing Unreadable Kinship Networks: Vāsudeva–Nārada on Cohesion

अर्थहेतोहि कामाद्‌ वा वाचा बीभत्सयापि वा । आत्मना प्राप्तमैश्वर्यमन्यत्र प्रतिपादितम्‌,आपने स्वयं जिस ऐश्वर्यको प्राप्त किया था, उसे किसी प्रयोजनवश या स्वेच्छासे अथवा कटुवचनसे डरकर दूसरेको दे दिया

artha-hetoḥ hi kāmād vā vācā bībhatsayāpi vā | ātmanā prāptam aiśvaryam anyatra pratipāditam ||

Нарада сказал: «Даже ради выгоды, или по вожделению, или даже из страха перед грубыми и отвратительными словами не следует передавать другому верховную власть и благополучие, добытые собственным усилием. Отдать в чужие руки самозавоеванную силу по таким побуждениям — нравственный проступок и утрата стойкости».
