Transliteration

purā madhyāhna-lasamaye lokāṁs tapati bhāskare | pratyāditya-pratīkāśaḥ sarvataḥ samadṛśyata ||

Translation

В древние времена, когда Солнце палило миры в томном часу полудня, явился сияющий муж — словно второе солнце, — видимый со всех сторон в равной яркости.
