ātmānaṃ ca viśeṣeṇa praśaṃsāmy anapāyinī | yasya me tvaṃ viśālākṣi bhāryā guṇasamanvitā ||
Наг сказал: «О большеглазая! Я особенно хвалю себя и свою неоскудевающую удачу: ведь мне досталась ты в жёны — исполненная достоинств и неизменно верная в супружестве».

A Nāga addresses his wife affectionately as “large-eyed,” expressing personal pride and gratitude that he has a wife endowed with virtues and unwavering companionship.
