व्यासश्वाकथयत्‌ प्रीत्या धर्मपुत्राय धीमते । स एवायं मया तुभ्यमाख्यात: प्रसृतो गुरो:

Transliteration

Vaiśampāyana uvāca: Vyāsaś ca kathayat prītyā Dharmaputrāya dhīmate | sa evāyaṃ mayā tubhyam ākhyātaḥ prasṛto guroḥ ||

Translation

Вайшампаяна сказал: С любовной благожелательностью Вьяса изложил это учение дхармы мудрому сыну Дхармы — Юдхиштхире. Ту самую дхарму, что прозвучала из уст самого гуру, я ныне поведал здесь тебе.
