एकान्तिनो हि पुरुषा दुर्लभा बहवो नृप । यद्येकान्तिभिराकीर्ण जगत् स्यात् कुरुनन्दन
ekāntino hi puruṣā durlabhā bahavo nṛpa | yady ekāntibhir ākīrṇaṁ jagat syāt kurunandana ||
Вайшампаяна сказал: «О царь, люди с единой, сосредоточенной преданностью поистине редки; их немного. О радость куру, если бы мир наполнился такими однонаправленными душами, тогда вся земля была бы пронизана духом Крита (Сатья) юги: не осталось бы места обрядам, совершаемым из желания награды, ибо все были бы устремлены к благу существ, утверждены в знании Атмана, в ненасилии и в исключительной преданности.»
