A vision of the Supreme (Nārāyaṇa/Hari) is not merely a human achievement; it occurs by divine sanction. The verse emphasizes humility and the primacy of God’s grace in spiritual attainment.
In the Śaunaka–Sauti frame narrative, Śaunaka remarks that Nārada’s direct sight of Nārāyaṇa must have been possible only because the Lord permitted it, addressing Sauti respectfully as the son and pride of the Sūta lineage.
