परमर्षिमहायोगी अरणीगर्भसम्भव: । अरणीके साथ-साथ शुक्रका भी मन्थन होनेसे महातपस्वी तथा महायोगी परम ऋषि शुकदेवजीका जन्म हो गया। वे अरणीके ही गर्भसे प्रकट हुए
paramarṣi-mahāyogī araṇī-garbha-sambhavaḥ |
Бхишма сказал: «Из трения арани (araṇī), огненного сверла,—в котором, как говорится, вместе был “взбит” и явлен даже Шукра,—родился высший риши Шукачдева, великий подвижник и великий йогин. Он проявился как вышедший из самого чрева арани.»
