अतोडन्यथा वर्तमानो राजा प्राप्रोति किल्बिषम्‌

Transliteration

atoḍaṇyathā vartamāno rājā prāpnoti kilbiṣam

Translation

Вьяса сказал: Царь, поступающий вопреки должной сдержанности и дисциплине и правящий неправедными средствами, навлекает на себя вину и грех. Царская власть подотчётна нравственному закону: отступление от праведного правления приносит ответственность, а не славу.
