देवा: पितृणां च सुता देवैलोका: समावृता: । चराचरा नरश्रेष्ठ इत्येवमनुशुश्रुम

Transliteration

devāḥ pitṝṇāṃ ca sutā devalokāḥ samāvṛtāḥ | carācarā naraśreṣṭha ityevam anuśuśruma ||

Translation

Яджнявалкья сказал: «Так мы слышали, о лучший из людей: боги также — потомство Питров (предков-Отцов), и божественные миры заключены в них; воистину всё движущееся и всё неподвижное входит в этот порядок».
