Śuka’s Manifestation from the Araṇi (Āraṇeya-janma) — शुकजन्म (आरणेय-सम्भव)
ततो ब्रह्माणमसृजद्धिरण्याण्डसमुद््भवम् । सा मूर्ति: सर्वभूतानामित्येवमनुशुश्रुम
tato brahmāṇam asṛjad hiraṇyāṇḍa-samudbhavam | sā mūrtiḥ sarva-bhūtānām ity evam anuśuśruma ||
Затем Всевышний породил Брахму, возникшего из золотого космического яйца (Хиранья-анда). Так мы слышали: этот образ (Брахма) стал источником и первоосновой всех существ — знаменуя упорядоченное развёртывание творения после появления трав и целебных растений, поддерживающих жизнь.
