अव्यक्त–पुरुष–विवेकः (Discrimination of Avyakta/Prakṛti and Puruṣa) — Yājñavalkya’s Anvīkṣikī to Viśvāvasu

संचोदनाभिमीतिमानात्मानं चोदयेदथ । तिष्ठन्तमजरं तं तु यत्‌ तदुक्तं मनीषिभि:

sañcodanābhimītimān ātmānaṃ codayed atha | tiṣṭhantam ajaraṃ taṃ tu yat tad uktaṃ manīṣibhiḥ ||

Васиштха сказал: «Посему мудрый йогин, наделённый различающей решимостью, да побудит самого себя. Да направит он внутреннее существо к той нестареющей Реальности, что стоит неподвижно,—к Атману, о котором говорят мудрецы. С очищенным умом, отвратив чувства от их предметов, пусть он отведёт своё стремление от совокупности материальных начал и обратит его к Высшему Пуруше, пребывающему по ту сторону Природы.»
