सुखदु:खे समाधाय पुमानन्येन गच्छति । अन्येनैव जन: सर्व: संगतो यश्न पार्थिव:
sukha-duḥkhe samādhāya pumān anyena gacchati | anyenaiva janaḥ sarvaḥ saṅgato yac ca pārthivaḥ ||
Собрав в себе и умиротворив и радость, и страдание, человек рассудительный идет иным путем — путем, ведущим к освобождению. Но все люди, скованные привязанностью, вместе со всем своим мирским достоянием (о царь) — женой, детьми и богатством, — движутся другой дорогой; потому и продолжают вращаться в круговороте рождений и смертей.
