Parāśara’s Instruction
त्वमेव हीज्यसे यस्माद् यज्ैविविधदक्षिणै: । त्वमेव कर्ता सर्वस्य तेन त्वं न निमन्त्रित:
tvam eva hījyase yasmād yajñair vividha-dakṣiṇaiḥ | tvam eva kartā sarvasya tena tvaṁ na nimantritaḥ ||
Бхишма сказал: «Лишь ты один поистине почитаем, ибо жертвоприношения — наделённые многими видами даров и вознаграждений — совершаются ради тебя. Лишь ты один — совершитель всего; потому ты и не был “приглашён” как отдельный гость».
