वृत्ति-सत्सङ्ग-दान-धर्म

Livelihood, Virtuous Association, and Ethics of Giving

उस समय इन्द्र आदि सब देवताओंने दक्ष प्रजापतिके यज्ञमें जानेके लिये परस्पर मिलकर निश्चय किया ।।

te vimānair mahātmāno jvalanārka-samaprabhaiḥ | devasyānumate ’gacchan gaṅgādvāram iti śrutiḥ ||

Бхишма сказал: «Тогда великодушные боги, взаимно согласившись отправиться на жертвоприношение Дакши Праджапати, выступили в сияющих небесных колесницах, пылающих, как огонь и солнце. С дозволения Махадевы они направились к Гангадваре (Харидвару) — так передаёт предание».
