चिरकारि-उपाख्यानम् / The Exemplum of Cirakārī: Deliberation Before Irreversible Action
मुदित: शुचिरभ्येति सर्वतो निर्भय: सदा । न हि दुश्चरितं किंचिदात्मनो<न्येषु पश्यति
bhīṣma uvāca | muditaḥ śucir abhyeti sarvato nirbhayaḥ sadā | na hi duścaritaṃ kiñcid ātmano 'nyeṣu paśyati ||
Бхишма сказал: Чистый в поступках и мыслях человек движется с радостью; со всех сторон он всегда бесстрашен. Ибо он не переносит на других своих собственных проступков — не видит в них отражения своих злодеяний.
