अहिंसा-प्रधान धर्मविचारः

ततोअब्रवीत् पुनर्मुत्युर्भगवन्तं पितामहम् । न हरेयं प्रजा देव पुनश्चाहं प्रसादये
tato 'bravīt punar mṛtyur bhagavantaṃ pitāmaham | na hareyaṃ prajā deva punaś cāhaṃ prasādaye ||
Тогда Смерть вновь обратилась к почтенному Прадеду (Брахме): «О Владыка, я не могу совершать уничтожение существ. Потому я снова прошу твоей милости и дозволения».
