Ahiṃsā as the Superior Dharma: Practical and Scriptural Reasoning
एवमुक्ता महाबाहो मृत्यु: परपुरंजय । न व्याजहार तस्थौ च प्रह्मा भगवदुन्मुखी
evam uktā mahābāho mṛtyuḥ parapuraṃjaya | na vyājahāra tasthau ca brahmā bhagavad-unmukhī ||
Бхишма сказал: «Так обращённая, о могучерукий, о покоритель вражеских твердынь, Смерть не смогла вымолвить ни слова. Обратив лицо к Брахме, она стояла со сложенными ладонями, молча принимая его повеление».
