Ātma-saṃyama-dharma: One-pointedness of Mind and Senses (शुक–व्यास संवादः)
अभिवाद्य गुरु ब्रूयादधीष्व भगवन्निति । इदं करिष्ये भगवन्निदं चापि कृतं मया
abhivādya guruṁ brūyād adhīṣva bhagavann iti | idaṁ kariṣye bhagavann idaṁ cāpi kṛtaṁ mayā ||
Почтительно приветствовав учителя, ученик должен, сложив ладони, сказать: «О почтенный, наставь меня». И пусть он с честностью и дисциплиной доложит: «Это дело я возьмусь исполнить сейчас, а то другое уже мною завершено». Стих утверждает учение как основанное на почтении, ответственности и готовности к долгу.
