śakra uvāca āpa eva manuṣyeṣu dravantyaḥ paricāriṇyaḥ | tāste pādaṃ titikṣantām alam āpas titikṣitum ||
Шакра сказал: «В мире людей одни лишь воды текут повсюду, словно служительницы. Пусть эти воды несут твою стопу; воды вполне способны вынести это бремя».
शक्र उवाच
Endurance (titikṣā) and suitability: the burden should be placed where it can be borne without harm, and the capacity to sustain is itself a virtue aligned with cosmic order.
Indra (Śakra) explains that in the human realm waters move everywhere like attendants, so they should bear the (symbolic) foot—i.e., accept and sustain the assigned share of a burden because they are capable of it.
