Бхишма сказал: «Затем были Гаутама, Бхарадваджа и Вишвамитра — также известный как Каушика; и равно — благословенный сын великодушного риши Учики».
भीष्म उवाच
The verse reinforces the authority of dharma-teachings by grounding them in a lineage of revered ṛṣis. By naming eminent sages, Bhīṣma signals that the instruction being given rests on established tradition and exemplary lives.
In Śānti Parva’s instructional setting, Bhīṣma continues an enumeration of great sages—Gautama, Bharadvāja, Viśvāmitra (Kauśika), and the son of Ṛṣi Ūcīka—invoking them as authoritative figures connected to the topic under discussion.
