Subtle Dharma and the Primacy of Renunciation

ऑपन-माज बछ। जज: - इसी पर्वमें अध्याय १७ श्लोक १७ देखना चाहिये। एकोनविशो< ध्याय: युधिष्ठटिरद्वारा अपने मतकी यथार्थताका प्रतिपादन युधिछिर उवाच वेदाहं तात शास्त्राणि अपराणि पराणि च | उभयं वेदवचनं कुरु कर्म त्यजेति च

yudhiṣṭhira uvāca | vedāhaṃ tāta śāstrāṇi aparāṇi parāṇi ca | ubhayaṃ vedavacanaṃ kuru karma tyajeti ca ||

Юдхиштхира сказал: «Дорогой мой, я знаю трактаты обоих родов — те, что учат дхарме в мирской сфере, и те, что учат высшей истине. В Ведах встречаются оба предписания: “действуй” и “отрекись от действия” — и то и другое мне понятно».
