तदनन्तर काश्यपने इन्द्रदेवका पूजन किया और उनकी आज्ञा लेकर वे पुनः अपने घरको लौट गये ।। इति श्रीमहाभारते शान्तिपर्वणि मोक्षधर्मपर्वणि शृुगालकाश्यपसंवादे अशीत्यधिकशततमो<ध्याय:
tadanantaraṁ kāśyapena indradevakaḥ pūjitaḥ, tasya cājñāṁ gṛhītvā te punaḥ svagṛhaṁ pratyāgacchan. iti śrīmahābhārate śāntiparvaṇi mokṣadharmaparvaṇi śṛgālakāśyapasaṁvāde aśītyadhikaśatatamo 'dhyāyaḥ.
После этого Кашьяпа совершил поклонение Индрадеве; и, получив его дозволение, они вновь возвратились в свой дом. Так завершается сто восьмидесятая глава (по иному счёту — сто восемьдесят первая) «Шанти-парвы», в разделе «Мокшадхарма», в беседе шакала и Кашьяпы.
