एवं व्यवसिते लोके बहुदोषे युधिष्ठिर । आत्ममोक्षनिमित्तं वै यतेत मतिमान् नर:,युधिष्ठिर! इस प्रकार यह जगत् अनेक दोषोंसे परिपूर्ण है, ऐसा निश्चय करके बुद्धिमान् पुरुष अपने मोक्षके लिये प्रयत्न करे
evaṁ vyavasite loke bahudoṣe yudhiṣṭhira | ātmamokṣanimittaṁ vai yateta matimān naraḥ ||

भीष्म उवाच
Recognize the pervasive imperfections of worldly life and, with that clear-eyed understanding, direct one’s effort toward personal liberation (moksha) through disciplined striving.
In the Shanti Parva instruction, Bhishma continues advising Yudhishthira, urging him to adopt a mature assessment of worldly defects and to prioritize the pursuit of moksha as a wise life-goal.
