अपि चैतत्‌ पुरा राजन्‌ मनुना प्रोक्तमादित:

Transliteration

api caitat purā rājan manunā proktam āditaḥ

Translation

Бхишма сказал: «И ещё, о царь, этот самый принцип изначально был возвещён в древности Ману: когда правитель, оставаясь ровным к приятному и неприятному, никому не потворствует, применяет наказание с точной мерой и хорошо охраняет подданных, — такое правление и есть не что иное, как дхарма.»
