Transliteration

bhīṣma uvāca | yodhāḥ samaraśauṭīrāḥ kṛtajñāḥ śastrakovidāḥ | dharmaśāstrasamāyuktāḥ padātijanasaṃvṛtāḥ |

Translation

Бхишма сказал: «Воистину владычествует над землёй тот царь, чьи воины — испытанные в битве герои, благодарные и верные духом, искусные в обращении с оружием, утверждённые в учении дхармы и окружённые надёжно поддержанной пехотой».
