शंकितस्त्वमहं भीत: परच्छिद्रानुदर्शिन: । अस्निग्धाश्वैव दुस्तोषा: कर्म चैतद् बहुच्छलम्
śaṅkitas tv ahaṃ bhītaḥ paracchidra-anudarśinaḥ | asnigdhāś caiva duṣṭoṣāḥ karma caitad bahu-chalam ||
Бхишма сказал: «Я тревожусь и боюсь, что ты заподозришь меня. К тому же твои слуги вечно высматривают чужие промахи; ко мне они не питают ни капли расположения, и мне чрезвычайно трудно удерживать их в довольстве. И само дело министра исполнено множества видов обмана и хитроумных уловок.»
