Vyāghra–Gomāyu Saṃvāda (व्याघ्रगोमायु संवाद) — Testing Character Beneath Appearances
अप्रत्ययकृतां गह्र[मिर्थापनयदूषिताम् । इह चामुत्र चानिष्टां तस्माद् वृत्ति न रोचये
apratyayakṛtāṁ gahrām irthāpanayadūṣitām | iha cāmutra cāniṣṭāṁ tasmād vṛttiṁ na rocaye ||
Бхишма сказал: «Промысел, ведёмый без надёжности и честности,—жестокий, порицаемый и осквернённый деяниями, подрывающими дхарму,—приносит нежеланные плоды и в этом мире, и в следующем. Потому я не одобряю такого образа жизни.»
