मातापितृगुरुपूजा-प्रशंसा

Praise of Venerating Mother, Father, and Teacher

नैतानतिशयेज्जातु नात्यश्रीयान्न दूषयेत्‌

na etān atiśayej jātu nātyaśrīyān na dūṣayet |

Бхишма сказал: «Никогда и ни при каких обстоятельствах не стремись затмить этих людей и не относись к ним с презрением, не поноси их. Не нарушай их законной власти; не ешь, прежде чем накормить их; не приписывай им вины; и постоянно пребывай в служении им. Это — высочайшее благочестивое деяние. О лучший из царей, служа им, ты обретёшь славу, чистое доброе имя и достижение наилучших миров».
