रणभूमिवर्णनम् — Devāsuropama-yuddha and the ‘River’ Metaphor of the Battlefield
अभ्ययु: कौरवान् राजन् योत्स्यमाना: समन्ततः । राजन! इसी प्रकार उस महासमरमें पाण्डव भी अपनी सेनाका व्यूह बनाकर सब ओरसे युद्धके लिये उद्यत हो कौरवोंपर चढ़ आये
abhyayuḥ kauravān rājan yotsyamānāḥ samantataḥ |
Санджая сказал: «О царь, кауравы двинулись со всех сторон, жаждая битвы. Так же и в той великой сече пандавы, выстроив своё войско в боевой порядок, ринулись на кауравов со всех направлений, вполне готовые к сражению».
