वैष्णव्यश्व तथा सौर्यों वाराह्म॒श्न महाबला: | रूपेणाप्सरसां तुल्या मनोहायों मनोरमा:
vaiṣṇavyaś ca tathā sauryāḥ vārāhāś ca mahābalāḥ | rūpeṇāpsarasāṃ tulyā manohāryo manoramāḥ ||
Вайшампаяна сказал: «Среди тех могучих сил Матерей-богинь были также энергии Вишну, Сурьи и божественного Варахи — Вепря. Все они наделены великой мощью; обликом же подобны апсарам — пленительны для ума и отрадны взору».
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The passage highlights that divine power (śakti) can be both formidable and beautiful—energies aligned with major deities are portrayed as awe-inspiring yet auspicious, suggesting that cosmic order is upheld through powers that can protect, bless, and also overwhelm hostile forces.
Vaiśampāyana continues a description of the Mātṛkā-like divine powers associated with various gods. Here he specifies those connected with Viṣṇu, Sūrya, and Varāha, emphasizing their great strength and their enchanting, Apsaras-like appearance.
