Saptasārasvata-tīrtha-prasaṅgaḥ | The Saptasārasvata Pilgrimage Account and the Maṅkaṇaka Narrative
उपस्पृश्य तु तत्रापि विधिवद् यदुनन्दन: । दत्त्वा दायान् द्विजातिभ्यो भाण्डानि विविधानि च
upaspṛśya tu tatrāpi vidhivad yadunandanaḥ | dattvā dāyān dvijātibhyo bhāṇḍāni vividhāni ca ||
Вайшампаяна сказал: Там же Ядунандана (Баларама), совершив по уставу очищение и ритуальное отпивание воды, одарил дваждырождённых — богатством и сосудами разных видов.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights dharmic conduct: maintaining ritual cleanliness and following prescribed rites, then practicing generosity—especially honoring learned Brahmins through appropriate gifts.
Vaiśaṃpāyana narrates that Balarāma performs the proper purification/ācamana and then donates wealth and various vessels to the twice-born, indicating a formal act of charity and respect.
