गृहाण चक्रमित्युक्तो मया तु तदनन्तरम् | जग्राहोत्पत्य सहसा चक्रं सवब्येन पाणिना
gṛhāṇa cakram ity ukto mayā tu tad-anantaram | jagrāhotpatya sahasā cakraṃ savyena pāṇinā | sarva-yatna-balena api gṛhṇann evam idaṃ tataḥ | tataḥ sarva-balena api yad enaṃ na śaśāka ha |
Вайшампаяна сказал: Когда я сказал ему: «Возьми диск», он тотчас вскочил и левой рукой схватил колесо. Но, как ни напрягал он все усилия и всю свою силу, не смог ни поднять его, ни сдвинуть. И когда, истощив всю мощь, он всё же не сумел завладеть им, сын Дроны внутренне опечалился; а утомившись от попыток, отказался от намерения унести его.
