Escalation of Wagers and Shakuni’s Repeated Declarations of Victory
इत्युक्त्वा प्रययौ राजा सह क्षत्रा युधिष्ठिर: । अमृष्यमाणस्तस्यथाथ समाह्दवानमरिंदम:
ity uktvā prayayau rājā saha kṣatrā yudhiṣṭhiraḥ | amṛṣyamāṇas tasyāthātha samāhvānam arindamaḥ ||
Вайшампаяна сказал: Сказав так, царь Юдхиштхира выступил в путь вместе с Видурой. Хотя в глубине души он не мог стерпеть призыва Дхритараштры к игре в кости, царь, сокрушающий врагов, всё же приготовился идти—избрав сдержанность и повиновение царской власти вместо немедленного протеста, пусть сам зов и тревожил его с точки зрения дхармы.
