Nārada’s Examination of Royal Ethics
कच्चिन्न लोभान्मोहाद् वा मानादू् वापि विशाम्पते । अर्थिप्रित्यर्थिन: प्राप्तानू न पश्यसि कथंचन
kaccin na lobhān mohād vā mānād vāpi viśāmpate | arthipratyarthinaḥ prāptān na paśyasi kathaṃcana, nareśvara |
Нарада сказал: «О владыка народа, о царь, бывает ли, что из жадности, заблуждения или гордыни ты хоть взглядом не удостаиваешь пришедших к тебе просителей — или тех, кто возвращается, желая вновь обрести содержание, некогда дарованное царем? Не пренебрегаешь ли ты ими, когда они стоят перед тобой?»
